What do you think of this?

Apparently it’s standard practice to throw make live male chicks in a meat grinder because they are of no use to the egg industry. It’s perfectly legal and just about every egg company does it.

I used to think people were mostly good, but idk anymore

Wow, just WOW! What a horrible way to come into this world. I wonder about how people learn to think-or not think–while daily performing these disgusting tasks.
This video reminds me of how many conglomerate corporations see human workers. People too are just throw away much like those defenseless baby chickens in the video.
I will not stop eating eggs because of this video however since I raise my own chickens and am not cruel to them. I have three hens right now that each have their own brood of babies. It is so sweet to watch them mother them. My chickens are allowed to roam my garden as they are only banties–a smaller type of chicken– and they do no harm to my plants but are great at keeping the bug population down. Their eggs are about half the size of regular egg laying chickens which I have a few of too.
Watching the animals that I have been a part of raising since I was very young has made me realize that each animal is born with their own personalities and are a joy to watch.
I think that big food industries really do use disgusting practices to ensure that we as consumers pay as little as possible for the foods we purchase. It is all about the almighty dollar.

It sucks, but if you don’t like it raise your own chickens…

The machine is responsible for this.

AHHH, their selling point is their morally superior vegan diet… Well, they can do what they want. But the cycle of suffering doesn’t end their. If we grow plants, we are stealing animal food and habitat. Also, we have to protect the plants against animals so that WE can eat them instead of say deer…

Do the math, we are a fallen creation that has to kill to eat. That is the world we live in, that is reality, get over it.

Do you have the right mix, by any chance? I thought it was just a little over 50 and a little under 50.
